Seasonal shipping
When plants move — and when they wait.
Live wood and rooted plants ship on weather, not wishful calendars. Hoop houses help us stage stock; they do not cancel heat waves or hard freezes in transit.
Season windows (honest ranges)
Dormant wood usually moves in cooler months when sticks stay asleep in the box. Leafy or rooted plants need mild stretches so they are not cooked in a truck or frozen on a porch. Exact weeks shift by year and region — we will not invent a fake ship-by date.
- We hold orders when a heat wave or hard freeze is likely on the route.
- You get a ship notice when the package leaves.
- Signature or porch timing is on you once it is out for delivery.
- Hoop and tunnel space lets us harden and stage plants — it is not a magic override for carrier weather.
What arrives
Packaging aims to keep wood from drying and roots from baking. Open the box the day it arrives. Pot up or heel in promptly. Photograph any transit damage before you discard packing — that helps if we need to make it right.
No fake ship dates
If stock is not ready, we say so. Request availability with your zip and preferred week — we answer with a real window or a hold. That is better than a cheerful date that misses the weather.
